So far so good

Qualified! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

July is upon us. June went in quickly, as has every month this year, perhaps because it was a busy one. The biggest win in the month was that I finally qualified as a remedial and sports massage therapist which I’m really chuffed about. I have a couple of clients lined up this week which is great, and hopefully I’ll start to get a few folk on the books. We had a great celebration as a class, and I’d treated myself to a weekend in Glasgow to make the most of it, which I’m glad I did.

Hot on the heels of that weekend away was a trip to Keswick to support some Pirate pals doing The Lakesman Triathlon. Luckily the weather held out for most of the weekend, and while it was hot and sticky when we arrived on the Friday, the clouds started to make an appearance, but thankfully the heavens only opened up about an hour or so before the last pirate made it home. It was a great weekend away in a beautiful location with lovely people, so that was a definite win.

My plan (hope) for the month that was that I’d manage to lose 5lbs, making sure I ate more protein and veggies, and increased the general movement and mobility. Well, I’ve been eating more protein, still need to work on the veggies bit, and the mobility and movement could be better…..but I have lost 4.5lb which I’m happy with, esp. with two weekends away. So pretty much on track there which is good.

The plan for July is…..more of the same. I have another two weekends away this month, so aim is not to let them derail me, and hope by the start of August I’ll be 10lbs down. Slowly slowly catchee monkey.

Wish me luck, I’ll need it 😂
